TAL-U-NO-LX by TAL Software

If you’re looking for a Juno-60 emulation, TAL’s got you covered.

TAL-U-NO-LX is an affordable plugin that delivers all the nostalgic ‘80s sound you’re hoping for.

What Is TAL-U-NO-LX?

TAL-U-NO-LX is a virtual synth plugin that emulates the Roland Juno-60. It has all the features of the original synth, plus some upgrades like 12-voice polyphony, portamento control, and manual LFO.

It’s one of the strongest and most faithful Juno-60 emulations available. It’s available in VST, AU, AAX, and CLAP formats, making it compatible with every major DAW.

Calibrated & Tuned to Original Hardware

TAL went through painstaking efforts to recreate the Juno-60. All the oscillators, filters, and envelopes were closely matched to an actual hardware unit in their collection.

The result is an incredible emulation of the original Roland Juno-60.

Over 300 Presets

The expansive number of presets gives you everything from fat basses to punchy leads and atmospheric pads. Plus, They’ve included all the “Factory Bank A” presets from the original Juno hardware.

All the presets are fully adjustable, so you can add your own unique touch.

12-Voice Polyphony

The original Juno-60 only supported up to six voices. TAL’s LX synth doubles that number, giving you an impressive 12-voice polyphony. Use them to get those extra-thick, layered sounds.

Classic Juno Dual Chorus

The chorus was arguably the Juno’s most iconic feature. And thankfully, it’s been lovingly recreated with this software synth. The LX gives you access to all three of the Juno’s chorus settings (I, II, and I+II).

Additional Upgrades Over the Original

It’s obvious that the TAL-U-NO-LX is a loving recreation, and you can use it exactly like an original Juno-60 if you want. But as a software instrument, it isn’t bound by its limitations either:

  • Manual LFO trigger lets you control effects at any time.
  • MIDI learn capable — lets you change and automate parameters with a hardware controller.
  • Arpeggiator engine that syncs to your DAW’s tempo.
  • Portamento control and LFO waveform manipulation.
  • MPE support for advanced expression and performance.
